Leads the systems integration organization responsible for device validation infrastructure, test automation, developer tooling, and lab operations for consumer hardware products. The role combines technical architecture, release quality ownership, team development, and cross-functional hardware-software validation.

Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, manage, mentor, and develop engineers and lab operations staff responsible for test infrastructure, automation, device labs, and release validation.
- Define validation systems, processes, release criteria, metrics, and escalation mechanisms across software, firmware, and hardware.
- Improve test reliability, failure triage, regression management, and release readiness.
- Guide development of testing platforms, automated test frameworks, hardware-in-the-loop systems, device orchestration, diagnostics, and developer tooling.
- Scale device fleets, test rigs, lab infrastructure, provisioning, maintenance, and capacity.
- Establish documentation, ownership models, vendor partnerships, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Partner with hardware, embedded systems, QA, reliability, and release teams to improve product testability and resolve quality issues.
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams responsible for systems integration, test infrastructure, developer tooling, device quality, or hardware-software validation.
- Strong technical background in software engineering, embedded systems, test automation, or systems engineering.
- Extensive experience with consumer hardware products and validating software, firmware, and physical devices together.
- Experience operating or scaling automated testing and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Experience using data and quality signals to make release decisions and prioritize investments.
- Experience managing engineers while partnering with lab technicians, QA teams, vendors, or hardware operations teams.
- Ability to work across technical architecture, operations, people management, and cross-functional execution.
