AI-Native Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to features end to end: clarify requirements, participate in design discussions, implement, test, debug, and help ship features.
• Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot for implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation; review and validate generated output before release.
• Improve AI-assisted development workflows, including agent configurations, prompt and context templates, MCP integrations, and guardrails.
• Write and improve tests and quality checks to verify behavior, catch regressions, and productionize AI-generated code.
• Share effective AI-assisted engineering practices, reusable prompts, workflows, and code-review approaches.
• Debug complex issues by reproducing bugs, analyzing logs, and diagnosing concurrency, operating-system, and environment-specific problems.
• Work across Windows and Linux, with exposure to cloud, containerized, on-premises, and air-gapped deployments.
• Prototype and evaluate AI-powered product capabilities, including LLM-assisted analysis, automated triage, and AI-assisted integration support.
• Collaborate with Product Management and QA to understand requirements, make technical trade-offs, and deliver reliable features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of professional experience with a track record of feature ownership.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and system design.
• Strong coding and debugging skills, including navigating large codebases and diagnosing issues across operating-system boundaries.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic tools in real development work, with the judgment to review, verify, and test generated code.
• Working knowledge of LLM fundamentals, including prompt and context design, tool or function calling, output evaluation, and data privacy for proprietary code.
• Experience with design reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Development experience on Windows and Linux.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Production systems experience in any technology stack.
• Rust or C++ experience.
• Experience building AI agents or agentic pipelines, including tool contracts, structured output, and multistep orchestration.
• Performance profiling and networking knowledge, including OSI concepts.
• Cybersecurity concepts or experience with security-product components.
• Database management systems experience, such as SQLite or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Good English communication skills.
