Senior Frontend Engineer - Visual Experiences
Build scalable, high-performance frontend components and interactive data visualizations for a shared product platform. The role requires strong TypeScript and Angular expertise, browser performance optimization, testing experience, and a solid understanding of UX and design systems.

Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reactive frontend architectures for interactive data visualizations.
- Develop algorithms for complex visualization problems, including dynamic axis labels, histogram bucketing, fast interactions, and dynamic graph layouts.
- Optimize browser rendering performance for large datasets and high-load interfaces.
- Develop visualization techniques from prototype through production.
- Advocate for visualization best practices and data literacy through knowledge sharing, blog posts, customer documentation, and training materials.
- Contribute to the product roadmap for process and data visualizations with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build reusable components and maintain consistency through the Emotion design system.
- Support features for human users and AI agent integrations.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular.
- Comfort using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.
- Interest or experience building schemas, APIs, and component systems for AI agent interaction.
- Experience optimizing complex, high-load interfaces and writing unit and integration tests.
- Strong understanding of UX best practices and design systems.
- Analytical mindset with knowledge of complex algorithms, profiling, and optimization.
- Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of data visualization theory and best practices.
- Experience with D3.js, SVG, Vega-Lite, Observable Plot, or Highcharts.
- Several years of production Angular development experience.
