Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning execution across a regional portfolio of data center builds, expansions, and retrofits.
  • Manage and mentor Commissioning Managers and Engineers across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Maintain accountability for commissioning schedule, quality, and scope.
  • Implement and uphold commissioning standards, templates, and workflows.
  • Oversee third-party commissioning agents and coordinate with design, construction, operations, general contractors, OEMs, and commissioning firms.
  • Review and approve test procedures, scripts, MOPs, acceptance criteria, and other commissioning documentation.
  • Plan and execute integrated systems testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP, BMS, and EPMS infrastructure.
  • Track and report milestones, progress, and risks; escalate issues as needed.
  • Capture lessons learned and improve commissioning processes and time-to-market.
  • Enforce safety, compliance, and quality controls throughout the commissioning lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience commissioning data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams or programs.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, controls integration, BMS/EPMS, and commissioning best practices.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across design and construction stages.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented, data-driven approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required; approximately 50% travel.

Nice to Have

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • CxA certification.
