Software Engineer, Robotics
Build and ship production software for data center robotics including task planning, fleet coordination, autonomy behaviors, and operational tooling with remote monitoring and diagnostics. Requires experience shipping robot/autonomous systems software with ROS on real hardware, plus strong integration and remote failure engineering skills.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Build the software behind data center robotics: task planning, fleet coordination, and integration with company systems.
- Ship the autonomy glue: perception outputs, navigation stacks, and task logic composed into reliable behavior.
- Own the operational tooling: monitoring, teleoperation fallback, and diagnostics for robots at remote sites.
- Integrate robotics data into the platform: missions, exceptions, and outcomes queryable like everything else.
Requirements
- Shipped software for robots or autonomous systems in production.
- Worked with ROS or equivalent middleware on real hardware.
- Engineer for remote failure: recovery, fallback, and observability built in.
- Integrated robot systems with enterprise or facility software.
- Debug hardware-software boundaries without a lab bench.
Nice-to-Haves
- Navigation and SLAM.
- Fleet orchestration.
- C++, Python, or Go.
- Simulation (Gazebo, Isaac).
Skills
ROS, C++, Python, Go, Slam, Gazebo, Isaac Sim
