Responsibilities
- Build and improve services, infrastructure, and developer tooling for continuous integration, ephemeral environments, and automated testing.
- Develop scalable Kubernetes- and AWS-based capabilities for reliable, self-service production-like environments.
- Build shared infrastructure for test execution, orchestration, environment setup, and results.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency through durable software and infrastructure improvements.
- Replace manual or fragmented workflows with reusable APIs, automation, and platform capabilities.
- Use AI throughout software development and identify AI-enabled workflows that improve developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent.
- 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing production software with one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software or infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, continuous integration systems, developer tooling, or backend services.
- Ability to independently deliver well-scoped projects from technical design through production operation.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools across multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes control-plane engineering, AWS, containers, or infrastructure as code experience.
- Knowledge of developer tooling, continuous integration systems, internal developer platforms, or shared test infrastructure.
- Experience with ephemeral or production-like development and testing environments.
- Experience building APIs, services, command-line tools, test orchestration, or automation used by other engineers.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools or building AI-enabled developer workflows and automation.
Compensation
- United States anticipated base salary: $142,000–$196,600 USD.
- Canada anticipated base salary: $136,000–$165,000 CAD.
- Target bonuses, equity compensation, and benefits are also provided.
