Responsibilities
- Own dashboards used by product and customer teams across the company’s products.
- Define metrics from customer complaints and open questions, and track them over time.
- Identify product issues in data before they become escalations.
- Partner with the founder, product managers, engineers, and customer success to determine what to measure and explain changes in performance.
- Build customer-facing metrics and analyses using AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data or product analytics.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Product mindset focused on customer experience.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development, including Claude Code and similar agentic coding tools.
- Ability to validate data and question results before trusting them.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience.
- Experience building widely used dashboards with Metabase, Looker, or similar tools.
- Healthcare experience, including eligibility and benefits, patient billing, or revenue cycle management.
- Comfort reading application code to understand metric origins.
