Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship high-quality full-stack features using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Ruby, and Go.
- Own key parts of the product that impact user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations.
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, support, and sales partners to shape product direction and solve complex problems.
- Operate and monitor systems, focusing on reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
- Mentor peers, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative and inclusive engineering environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping and maintaining complex systems or products in production.
- Full-stack experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript, and back-end technologies such as Ruby, Go, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience working effectively across functions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Rust, WebAssembly, or graphics rendering technologies.
- Experience with extensibility platforms such as plugins, APIs, or widgets.
- Contributions to open source developer communities.
- A passion for excellent developer or user experiences and elegant, maintainable architecture.
- Enthusiasm for learning and teaching through mentoring, leading initiatives, code reviews, or pairing sessions.
