Software Developers will build and own full-stack features, scalable financial infrastructure, APIs, and customer experiences for a cross-border banking platform. Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end features across the full stack.
  • Build customer-facing interfaces and scalable backend services and APIs for banking, cross-border payments, ledgers, and financial-partner integrations.
  • Develop secure, highly available, performant systems for complex financial transaction flows.
  • Improve user experience, workflows, usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Write automated tests; improve monitoring, observability, stability, and resilience; and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on technical solutions and architectural decisions.
  • Participate in technical discussions and code reviews.
  • Own projects from ideation through production, share knowledge, mentor teammates, and continuously improve engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Experience building production web applications.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with AI tooling and AI-stack applications.
  • Experience building backend services and APIs and working with relational databases.
  • Understanding of scalability, security, performance, and reliability in production systems.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate clearly.
  • Collaborative, curious, and ownership-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

  • FinTech, banking, payments, lending, or financial-services experience.
  • Distributed systems and highly available architecture experience.
  • Secure coding practices and financial compliance knowledge.
  • Accounting concepts or financial reporting knowledge.

Compensation and Benefits

  • CAD $130,000–$180,000 base annual salary, commensurate with experience.
