Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end features across the full stack.
- Build customer-facing interfaces and scalable backend services and APIs for banking, cross-border payments, ledgers, and financial-partner integrations.
- Develop secure, highly available, performant systems for complex financial transaction flows.
- Improve user experience, workflows, usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Write automated tests; improve monitoring, observability, stability, and resilience; and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on technical solutions and architectural decisions.
- Participate in technical discussions and code reviews.
- Own projects from ideation through production, share knowledge, mentor teammates, and continuously improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- Experience building production web applications.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with AI tooling and AI-stack applications.
- Experience building backend services and APIs and working with relational databases.
- Understanding of scalability, security, performance, and reliability in production systems.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate clearly.
- Collaborative, curious, and ownership-oriented mindset.

Compensation and Benefits
- CAD $130,000–$180,000 base annual salary, commensurate with experience.
