Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dimensional data models that transform raw data into reliable datasets for analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
- Develop SQL data pipelines with production-standard data quality, freshness, and documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver structured datasets or dashboards for self-serve analytics.
- Use generative AI tools to improve data development, modeling, and documentation workflows.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues, implementing tests and monitors to detect problems before they affect downstream users.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries with joins, window functions, and aggregations.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language; Python preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, dashboards, documentation, or collaboration.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $50 USD.
- 12-week summer 2027 internship.
