About the role

What You’ll Do

  • Support Fivetran’s sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, and related amendments.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and RevOps to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business risk.
  • Advise on contractual issues related to data protection, privacy, security, IP, liability, and compliance in a SaaS environment.
  • Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to help close deals while maintaining scalable contracting processes.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 4 to 7 years’ experience negotiating and drafting sales agreements, including in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company and/or law firm.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and technology contracting issues in a B2B SaaS context.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort advising non-legal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, with demonstrated self-initiative that drives a desire for impact and achievement.
  • Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

Bonus Skills

  • CIPP (US) certification is a plus.
