Data Scientist
The Data Scientist develops statistical, machine learning, and optimization models, analyzes experiments and observational data, and partners with engineering and product teams to deploy algorithms and guide launch decisions. Requires a master’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and business partners to frame problems mathematically and in business context.
- Perform exploratory data analysis.
- Construct and fit statistical, machine learning, and optimization models.
- Write production modeling code.
- Collaborate with software engineers to implement algorithms in production.
- Design and run simulated and live traffic experiments.
- Analyze experimental and observational data.
- Communicate findings and facilitate launch decisions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered, operations research, or a related occupation.
- Experience solving unstructured and non-standard mathematical problems.
- Experience with end-to-end data workflows, including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with Python and other programming languages such as R and MATLAB.

- Base pay range: $129,709–$192,000 per year.
