Responsibilities
Be proactive and knowledgeable on relevant technologies and products; provide an ongoing forward-looking roadmap for our next 2-3 years’ solutions.
Drive consistent A/V capabilities for produced and broadcast events through the creation and distribution of best practices, procedures, and services.
Maintain a high bar for internal events.
Create an atmosphere that fosters high performance and collaboration, emphasizing teamwork, accountability, initiative, innovation, discipline, and operational excellence.
Develop strong customer relationships, cross-functional and internal Corporate Technology relationships; establish yourself and your team as a trusted advisor/partner.
Continuously manage customer expectations with regular communications and updates on events, technology strategy, and performance concerns.
Lead, grow, and mentor skilled AV producers, operators, and broadcast engineers.
Set clear goals and directions, and provide regular feedback on team members’ performance.
Travel to our offices as needed.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience leading a Global AV Events or Production Team.
Prior experience delivering technical solutions in high growth environments.
Ability to create necessary documentation, knowledge bases, and run books to enhance the execution of the service.
Experience and comfort interacting with executives and senior leaders.
Working consistently and effectively in a collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
A healthy skepticism for the status quo and an unwillingness to settle.
Experience being a catalyst for positive change in a global organization.
Experience empowering the team and leading with empathy and integrity.
Precise communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
CTS and/or CTS-D certification.
Q-Sys certification.
Dante certification.
Experience with QSC and Crestron programming.
Experience with the design and deployment of large event space.
Experience collaborating and leading both internal and external tent-pole enterprise events.
Engineering experience and understanding of large event spaces and complex control room and virtual event signal flows and designs.
