About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end speaker journey across priority Global Events programs, from confirmation and onboarding through content readiness, rehearsals, onsite support, and post-event follow-up.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for executives, customers, employees, partners, and internal teams.
  • Lead content operations across flagship, regional, executive, and internal events, including call-for-sessions workflows, agenda data, session metadata, speaker records, deck tracking, reporting, and production handoffs.
  • Manage event content systems, ensuring approved agenda and speaker changes are reflected consistently across platforms, workbooks, dashboards, and production documents.
  • Build and manage clear workbacks, communications plans, milestone calendars, rehearsal schedules, templates, playbooks, and status updates.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand, Creative, Legal, Developer Network, Sales Enablement, executive offices, production partners, agencies, and the broader Global Events team.
  • Coordinate deck reviews, content deadlines, technical checks, rehearsals, speaker briefings, and other readiness milestones.
  • Lead know-before-you-go sessions, speaker communications, speaker-ready-room operations, backstage handoffs, and other onsite speaker-support workflows.
  • Identify risks early, solve operational issues, and escalate decisions clearly.
  • Create a consistent, high-touch speaker experience while balancing the scale, pace, and complexity of a global event portfolio.
  • Provide clarity in ownership across teams by keeping speaker logistics, content operations, and readiness workflows organized.
  • Build scalable processes and mechanisms that can be reused across programs.
  • Lead post-event retrospectives for speaker experience and content operations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in event content operations, speaker management, event programming, production coordination, executive events, or large-scale B2B events.
  • Experience independently managing complex speaker and content workflows across multiple stages, session types, stakeholder groups, and deadlines.
  • Experience owning event content systems or agenda-management platforms, including session metadata, speaker records, agenda updates, deck tracking, reporting, and data-quality checks.
  • Experience supporting executive, customer, partner, or internal speakers from onboarding through onsite execution.
  • Strong understanding of speaker readiness, rehearsal logistics, technical checks, content-lock processes, speaker-ready-room operations, backstage handoffs, and production timelines.
  • Experience managing call-for-sessions workflows, speaker communications, content collection, review cycles, and production handoffs.
  • Strong project-management skills, with the ability to build and maintain workbacks, communications plans, templates, playbooks, risk trackers, escalation paths, and status reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality bar for speaker experience, content accuracy, data integrity, brand alignment, and production readiness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across teams and time zones.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting large-scale technology, SaaS, developer, customer, sales, executive, or internal events.
  • Hands-on experience with event content and speaker-management platforms such as Sessionboard, Swoogo, RainFocus, Airtable, Cvent, or similar tools.
  • Experience partnering with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, executive offices, Brand, Creative, Legal, Sales Enablement, and event-production teams.
  • Experience building repeatable speaker communications, content-operations playbooks, data-governance processes, or onsite speaker-support models.
  • Experience guiding agency partners, contractors, or coordinator-level support.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities, high-volume communications, multiple stakeholders, and highly visible deadlines.

Compensation

The estimated pay ranges for this role (for candidates hired in eligible locations only) are as follows:
