Developer Relations Engineer
Build developer tools, integrations, demos, and technical content for an AI infrastructure platform while representing the product in developer communities and at conferences. The role requires software engineering experience, strong technical communication, and familiarity with GPU or ML workflows.

Responsibilities
- Build tooling, extensions, and plugins that improve the developer experience on Runpod, and instrument them so the impact is measurable.
- Deliver talks at developer and AI developer conferences, and build relationships with organizers and attendees.
- Build on Runpod as users do, surfacing pain points and bugs.
- Design and run scalable programs across content, events, and community.
- Build relationships with developers and share insights with Product and other relevant teams.
Requirements
- Write code in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience as a software engineer.
- Technical credibility and ability to build and demonstrate real platform projects.
- Experience creating technical content, including demos, documentation, tutorials, or sample applications for developers.
- Experience building integrations or contributing to open-source projects within an ML/AI framework, SDK, or tooling ecosystem.
- Ability to work autonomously, identify friction points, and ship fixes independently.
- Familiarity with GPU compute, ML infrastructure, or AI engineering workflows.
- Ability to regularly attend events and conferences in person.
- Ability to speak publicly on behalf of a developer-facing product.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written voice, including event recaps and posts.
- Ability to create technically deep videos.
- Familiarity with AI libraries and frameworks, agent frameworks, ML infrastructure, and GPU workloads.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: $125,000–$180,000. The range may cover several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location.
