Senior Security Engineer
The Senior Security Engineer designs and implements security and operational controls across Reltio’s multi-cloud environment, performs technical risk assessments, and helps mitigate security deficiencies. The role requires at least five years of security implementation experience plus expertise in cloud security, networking, scripting, IaC, and security frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a cloud security subject-matter expert, providing guidance on industry best practices and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Deploy security controls in a multi-cloud environment across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Create security and operational controls to enforce information security policies.
- Partner with functional teams and stakeholders to resolve security-related configuration issues.
- Perform technical risk assessments of new technologies and verify alignment with secure architecture designs.
- Assess the impact of security deficiencies and communicate risks to stakeholders.
- Identify issues proactively and recommend configuration settings or supporting solutions to mitigate security deficiencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing security solutions.
- Strong cybersecurity background and knowledge of cyber threat vectors and countermeasures.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud security.
- Understanding of networking, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, network domains, communication protocols, and their effects on network and host security.
- Knowledge of security technologies including antivirus and anti-malware, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, DLP, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Experience with scripting and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with security frameworks such as SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO.
- Understanding of audit methodologies and processes.
- Experience working with virtual teams in a global environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptability, agility, interpersonal skills, partnership skills, and leadership without direct authority.

- Experience developing and operationalizing a vulnerability management program.
- Experience working with container-based architectures.
