Mobile Infrastructure Engineer
Own the release, CI, testing, stability, observability, and AI tooling that enables a high-traffic mobile trading product to ship reliably. The role requires broad consumer mobile infrastructure experience, hands-on app debugging, and strong measurement-driven engineering practices.

Responsibilities
- Own release tooling across iOS and Android, including automated builds, code signing, app-store submission, phased rollouts, hotfix paths, and post-release health checks.
- Build and maintain trusted CI infrastructure, including build-time budgets, flaky-test detection and quarantine, merge gates, and device/simulator infrastructure.
- Build quality tooling with regression gates and automated coverage to support crash-free and ANR targets.
- Fix crash clusters and harden application error paths when tooling surfaces issues.
- Run observability and alerting systems that identify problems before users are affected.
- Build AI into the mobile toolchain through evaluation harnesses, AI agents, and developer workflow tooling.
- Measure quality and infrastructure performance, set budgets, track them over time, and demonstrate improvements with data.
Requirements
- Broad mobile infrastructure experience at consumer scale across CI/CD, release automation, test infrastructure, and stability work on iOS, Android, or both.
- Hands-on experience with mobile release tooling, including crash reporting and monitoring such as Sentry, feature flagging such as LaunchDarkly, and release automation such as fastlane or equivalent tools.
- Practical experience applying AI to engineering, including evaluation harnesses, LLM-powered features, or AI agents in developer workflows.
- Measurement-driven approach to quality, instrumentation, budgets, and improvement tracking.
- Ability to modify app code, fix crash clusters, and harden error paths.
- Ability to independently own release, CI, quality, observability, and AI tooling on a small team.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with real-time data applications, live market feeds, or mobile trading products.
- Background in fintech or other data-intensive consumer mobile products.

- Base salary: $250,000–$350,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
