Senior Software Engineer, Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate services for retrieval, semantic search, agent orchestration, model integrations, and data pipelines.
• Work with private-market datasets to surface high-value signals for investors.
• Design and operate OpenSearch-backed retrieval and semantic search systems.
• Build and run agent orchestration, model integrations, and safety layers for LLM-driven workflows.
• Prototype new AI-driven features and productionize them in a Go-first codebase.
• Own large features end-to-end and improve testing, observability, and operational practices.

Requirements

• Full-stack generalist or backend specialist with 4+ years building large-scale web applications or backend services.
• Comfortable writing clean, production-quality Go (Golang) code, including services, libraries, and tests.
• Experienced in production search systems such as OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or comparable platforms.
• Excited about LLMs, agents, embeddings, and retrieval; able to turn prototypes into reliable services.
• Experience with LLM APIs, tokenizers, or cloud GenAI SDKs is a plus.
• Self-starter with experience starting something meaningful (startup, open-source project, etc.).

• Delivers high-quality, well-tested code meeting goals and timelines.
• Contributes to team discussions with technical perspectives.
• Mentors and supports other engineers.
