Founding Product Engineer
Founding product engineer owns customer experience and ships frontend features end-to-end using React, collaborates with design via Figma, engages directly with finance customers, and co-owns product roadmap in early-stage AI compliance startup. Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to identify pain points and prioritize features
- Collaborate with design team using Figma to build and ship features end-to-end daily
- Handle customer support to deeply understand user needs
- Own customer experience (CX), making it flawless and unique
- Co-own product roadmap with CEO/Founder
- Build customer feedback and analysis processes for prioritization
Requirements
- Strong experience with React (entire frontend built in React)
- Strong experience with Figma for design collaboration
- Customer obsession, especially with finance professionals
- Very strong attention to detail (working with numbers)
- Strong organization skills for managing feature requests
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with large volumes of transaction data
- Experience with Python and Django (backend and data pipelines)
- Experience using PostHog and Sentry
