Work collaboratively with subject matter experts across the legal team on cutting-edge issues relating to artificial intelligence products.
Scale legal support through innovative application of AI tools and other automation mechanisms.
Areas of responsibility will include:
Leads OpenAI's export controls strategy, refining classification, licensing, and compliance for advanced tech like semiconductors and AI. Builds scalable operations, AI-enabled tools, and cross-functional partnerships to support innovation while ensuring regulatory adherence.
Leads OpenAI's sanctions and trade compliance program, developing global strategies, embedding controls into workflows, and advising cross-functional teams on U.S./international regulations. Requires 10+ years trade compliance experience, JD, and active law license.
Leads M&A, joint ventures, investments, and strategic transactions full lifecycle, including structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and execution. Provides strategic advice to business teams; requires 8+ years transactional experience and CA bar qualification.
Leads OpenAI's engagement with Northeast state and local governments, building relationships with officials and stakeholders to advance AI policy goals. Requires deep state policy expertise, advocacy experience, and strategic coalition-building skills.
Senior Litigation Counsel leading complex, high-profile litigation and regulatory enforcement for Block's fintech products. Requires 10+ years litigation experience, expertise in class actions/privacy/financial regs, and advising leadership on risk with business-oriented judgment.
