About the role
Responsibilities
Run the software release process end to end, coordinating across engineering while letting the technical calls stay with the engineers who own them.
Manage on-call rotations and other recurring assignments, including swaps, coverage gaps, and fair distribution.
Own account and access management across SaaS tools, internal systems, and cloud IAM, including provisioning for new hires and clean deprovisioning for departures.
Own vendor and third-party relationships, including renewals of existing SaaS subscriptions and maintaining escalation contacts.
Triage incoming support tickets, resolve what can be handled at the operations level, and act as the liaison between Support and Engineering for everything that needs deeper judgment.
Five or more years of experience in a software operations, technical program coordination, IT operations, developer experience, or similar role supporting an engineering team.
A strong sense of ownership. You track things to done, close loops without being asked, and are comfortable being the person people come to when they do not know who else to ask.
Clear written and verbal communication. Much of this role is written coordination across engineers, support, vendors, and finance.
Comfort with the tools of a modern software organization: Jira or a similar tracker, GitHub, Slack, SaaS admin consoles, cloud IAM basics, and on-call schedulers like PagerDuty.
Good judgment about when to act on your standing authority and when to escalate.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience coordinating software releases or on-call rotations.
Familiarity with SOC 2 or similar access review and compliance processes.
Exposure to cloud cost reporting or vendor procurement workflows.
