About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the data product roadmap in direct partnership with engineering, balancing client demand against build complexity.
  • Work directly with institutional clients — hedge funds and quant firms — to understand their data needs, scope custom and derived data products, and turn those conversations into a concrete roadmap.
  • Partner with liquidity and sales on outbound efforts, joining client calls, helping pitch data products, and informing how deals get structured and priced.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of external-facing data products — APIs, data feeds, and custom datasets — from initial scoping through to client onboarding.
  • Design pricing models and packaging structures that reflect the commercial value of Polymarket's data, not just its technical format.
  • Identify opportunities to build derived or aggregated signals on top of raw market data that would be meaningfully more useful to institutional buyers than the underlying data alone.
  • Track how clients are using data products post-launch, gather feedback, and feed that directly back into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience packaging raw data into commercial data products that external clients paid for — not internal dashboards or analytical tools.
  • Direct experience working with institutional or fund clients, including hedge funds, quant shops, or systematic trading firms.
  • Strong technical fluency with data infrastructure — comfortable discussing schema design, API architecture, and data pipeline fundamentals with engineers without needing translation.
  • Track record of shipping external-facing APIs or data feeds from spec to production.
  • Experience working alongside a sales or partnerships team to scope, pitch, and close data product deals.
  • Ability to look at a raw dataset and quickly identify what a paying client would want extracted, derived, or packaged from it.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with financial market data products, alternative data vendors, or the broader landscape of data sold to funds.
  • Experience pricing and structuring data licensing agreements.
  • Prior exposure to prediction markets, betting markets, or probabilistic data.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary & equity
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage
  • 401k match
  • Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
