Technical Product Manager, Document Intelligence

Own the roadmap and end-to-end product system for AI-powered document extraction and intelligence in private capital markets. About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the data extraction roadmap for ingesting and structuring variable private capital market documents into trusted, usable data.
  • Set direction across OCR, layout-aware models, vision-language models, and LLM-based extraction.
  • Design the end-to-end extraction pipeline, including human review and correction layers and downstream reporting, analytics, and document-intelligence workflows.
  • Specify extraction logic for engineering, ML, AI, and document-capture teams.
  • Build evaluation-driven frameworks to maintain extraction accuracy as document volume and variety grow.
  • Align product capabilities with client demand and business priorities alongside senior leadership, commercial, and client-facing teams.
  • Drive innovation in agentic extraction and document intelligence and communicate product vision internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Senior product leadership experience owning VLM- and LLM-native extraction tools from inception through launch.
  • Experience setting product direction, sequencing roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and managing releases.
  • Deep hands-on fluency with traditional OCR, layout-aware models, vision-language models, and LLM-based extraction.
  • Experience building evaluation sets across fields and document formats, using them for model selection, accuracy management, and shipping decisions.
  • Technical depth sufficient to specify extraction logic and evaluate implementation trade-offs with engineering teams.
  • Strong product-systems thinking across agentic extraction, human review, and downstream reporting workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across leadership, client-facing teams, engineering, and customers.
  • AI-native working style, including use of LLMs, prototyping platforms, and agentic tooling.

Nice to Have

  • Private markets or financial reporting experience.
  • Prior engineering experience in a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $150,000–$200,000 USD, dependent on experience.
