Lead Socure’s Federal Government Affairs Strategy
Develop and execute a proactive federal advocacy strategy aligned with enterprise priorities, including expanding adoption of identity verification technologies and advancing fraud prevention policy solutions.
Advise Executive Leadership on Policy and Political Dynamics
Translate federal policy developments, regulatory actions, and political dynamics into business implications, risks, and opportunities.
Drive Federal Policy Engagement and Advocacy
Lead engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, and key regulatory agencies.
Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, congressional staff, and federal officials.
Manage External Partnerships and Policy Coalitions
Oversee relationships with lobbying firms, policy consultants, and industry associations.
Integrate Government Affairs Across the Business
Partner with Legal, Product, Compliance, and Go-to-Market teams.
Monitor and Shape the Policy Landscape
Track legislative and regulatory developments affecting digital identity, fraud prevention, financial services, privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Business, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
10 years of relevant experience in government affairs, financial services policy, fintech regulation, or related field.
Deep familiarity with financial services regulation, banking policy, fintech innovation, or payments systems.
Experience working with Congress and/or federal regulators overseeing financial services, identity verification, or technology issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders.
Strong ability to translate complex policy developments into strategic insights.
Preferred Experience
Experience engaging on financial services or fintech policy issues on Capitol Hill or within federal regulatory agencies.
Familiarity with AML/KYC frameworks, digital identity policy, or fraud prevention technologies.
Experience at the intersection of technology policy and financial regulation.
Interest in AI governance, digital identity infrastructure, and data-driven fraud prevention.
Own Hearth's end-to-end paid acquisition as a hands-on expert in Facebook and Google Ads. Scale contractor lead volume while maintaining efficient CAC and ROAS through campaign optimization, creative testing, programmatic channels, and AI tools. 5-10 years managing $500K+ monthly budgets required.
