Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from data model to API to user interface.
- Build and harden infrastructure for payments, patient messaging, and clinical documentation.
- Integrate and productionize AI capabilities, including agents, ambient scribing, and automated follow-ups, into clinical and front-desk workflows.
- Work directly with customers and founders to turn ambiguous problems into shipped product.
- Write tests, instrument shipped features, and resolve issues quickly.
- Help establish technical foundations, patterns, tooling, and standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years building and shipping production software, ideally at a startup or on a small team with end-to-end feature ownership.
- Strong fundamentals in a modern backend language and a typed frontend stack; able to work across the full stack.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, and relational databases using SQL.
- Bias toward shipping and iterating with real users.
- Comfort with ambiguity and strong ownership.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Interest in speaking with product users.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, fintech/payments, or another regulated, high-trust domain.
- Experience integrating LLMs or AI agents into production products.
- Familiarity with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Experience with real-time systems, including voice, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Early-stage startup experience and a record of high output on a small team.
