Independently lead strategic engagements across target-setting, decarbonization, environmental impact management, and voluntary and regulatory reporting.
Partner closely with customers to craft the business case for sustainability.
Stay ahead of emerging frameworks, regulations, and market developments; translate sustainability trends and regulatory changes into actionable guidance for internal teams and customers.
Explore sustainability needs in emerging topics and industries; prototype how Watershed brings value to customers.
Identify opportunities and build solutions at the intersection of sustainability, advisory, and technology.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years at a consulting firm with demonstrated excellence in client-facing roles and at least 4 years in sustainability (experience can overlap).
Deep understanding of global supply chains, manufacturing processes, and/or procurement functions.
Comfortable using and speaking to data; systematic, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Expertise in corporate decarbonization; familiar with key climate frameworks such as GHGP, PCAF, SBTi, ISO, and reporting frameworks such as CSRD, CCDAA, ASRS, TCFD, CDP.
Excellent verbal and written communicator; able to present complex analyses and recommendations to C-suite audiences and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Passionate about solving climate change and excited to define the future of corporate sustainability at a high-growth startup.
Excel at driving strategic initiatives in complex organizations; able to influence decision-making while managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Direct experience working within key sustainability-adjacent corporate functions (e.g., procurement).
