About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds, expansions, and retrofits across a global portfolio.
  • Create and maintain AV system designs, including schematic drawings, line diagrams, and elevation plans.
  • Program and commission AV systems to meet specific use cases and user requirements.
  • Execute successful first-day-of-business deployments for new offices, ensuring systems are operational for day-one occupancy.
  • Attend build coordination meetings with architects, contractors, and workplace teams to drive AV requirements and integration.
  • Test emerging AV technologies to optimize productivity and enable premium experiences.
  • Develop automated solutions to improve system reliability and reduce operational overhead.
  • Partner with Security and IT teams to ensure AV systems meet enterprise security requirements.
  • Create comprehensive system documentation, including programming logic, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
  • Oversee global AV operations and service delivery standards.
  • Manage relationships with AV integrators and vendors.
  • Assist with event production, AV operations support, and system maintenance as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing AV systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in control-system programming using the Q-Sys ecosystem or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms, particularly Google Meet.
  • Ability to read and create AV technical drawings, including schematics, line diagrams, and rack elevations.
  • Understanding of digital signal processing concepts, including acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, EQ/dynamics, and automixing.
  • Familiarity with enterprise video distribution, streaming technologies, and broadcast standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex integrated systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 8 weeks domestically and internationally for office build-outs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with the Logitech video conferencing ecosystem and management platforms.
  • Q-Sys Level 2, CTS, or CTS-D certification.
  • Experience building Lua control scripts within Q-Sys.
  • Background in broadcast production or live event engineering.
  • Experience with Netgear network switches and AV-over-IP systems, including QLAN, Dante, or SMPTE 2110.
  • Familiarity with digital signage platforms such as Appspace.
  • Understanding of acoustical design principles for conference spaces.
  • Track record of large-scale office technology deployments.
  • Previous AV installation experience.
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies.
  • Google Workspace administration experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $285,000–$325,000 USD.
  • Hybrid policy: Staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
  • Visa sponsorship may be available.
