Senior Security Engineer
This senior security engineer designs, implements, and assesses security controls across Reltio’s AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure environments. The role requires at least five years of security implementation experience, strong cloud and cybersecurity expertise, infrastructure-as-code skills, and familiarity with compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a cloud security subject-matter expert, providing guidance on industry best practices and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Deploy security controls in a multi-cloud environment spanning AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Create security and operational controls to enforce security policies.
- Partner with functional teams and stakeholders to resolve security-related configuration issues.
- Perform technical risk assessments for new technology and verify alignment with secure architecture designs.
- Assess the impact of security deficiencies and communicate risks to stakeholders.
- Identify issues proactively and recommend configuration settings or supporting solutions to mitigate security deficiencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing security solutions.
- Strong cybersecurity knowledge, including cyber threat vectors and countermeasures.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud security.
- Understanding of networking, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, network domains, and communication protocols.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies, including antivirus and antimalware, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, DLP, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Strong experience with scripting and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO frameworks.
- Understanding of audit methodologies and processes.
- Experience working with virtual teams in a global environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal, partnership, and leadership skills without direct authority.
- Adaptability and agility.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing and operationalizing a vulnerability management program.
- Experience working with container-based architectures.
