Data Scientist, Finance
This role owns financial analytics, building forecasts, scenario analyses, production-grade data models, and predictive insights around revenue, retention, and unit economics. It partners with Finance, Data, and Engineering to provide trusted analysis and narratives for leadership, the board, fundraising, and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
- Own Lovable’s financial analytics, including projections, decision analyses, and long-range plans, in partnership with Finance.
- Build production-grade financial data models and metrics frameworks in the warehouse, with testing, ownership, and lineage.
- Turn product and business data into financial insight, including cohort economics, predictive models, and revenue and retention drivers.
- Build dashboards, alerts, automated reporting, and supporting agents to keep Finance and leadership aligned without manual refreshes.
- Translate complex financial data into clear narratives for executive and board audiences.
- Support fundraising and strategic initiatives with reliable analysis and data-room preparation.
Requirements
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis, including P&L, cash flow, and unit economics.
- Strong SQL, Python, and applied statistics skills.
- Comfort working with data at scale and turning it into forecasts and clear narratives.
- Curiosity about growth, retention, revenue, and business economics.
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments and collaborate closely with Finance, Data, and Engineering.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to executive and board audiences.
