Full Stack Software Engineer
Builds end-to-end features for internal and customer-facing data catalog products using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Postgres, and AWS. The role combines interface design, full-stack implementation, testing, and direct collaboration with users handling large, multimodal datasets.

Responsibilities
- Ship features across internal dashboard and customer-facing portal, from design through testing and rollout.
- Work directly with partnerships, solutions, and sales teams to identify workflow friction and turn it into product features.
- Design interfaces, including layout, hierarchy, interactions, and empty, loading, and error states.
- Build catalog and solutions workflows for sample creation, customer access management, and delivery exports.
- Build customer experiences for browsing, streaming, and evaluating multimodal samples.
- Implement playback, preview, and file-handling UX for content stored across buckets.
- Build UI on top of embedding-based search across large catalogs.
- Extend and consume API routes using Next.js route handlers, Postgres, and AWS.
- Handle sensitive data with scoped access, secure share links, and PHI-aware routes.
- Contribute to the shared design system and component library.
- Write tests as part of shipping.
Requirements
- 2+ years building production web applications used by real users.
- Strong TypeScript and React experience, with Next.js or a comparable full-stack framework.
- Experience shipping user-facing features end to end, including UI, API, data model, and tests.
- Strong design sense and ability to turn rough ideas into clean, usable interfaces.
- Comfort working across the stack, including Postgres and AWS cloud services.
- Ability to identify and improve confusing or slow workflows.
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Curious and proactive.
Nice-to-Haves
- Browser media playback experience, including HTML5 video/audio, HLS, containers, and codecs.
- Experience building search or data-heavy interfaces over large datasets.
- Portfolio, side projects, or shipped work demonstrating UI quality.
- Familiarity with Clerk, authentication systems, and permission modeling.
- Experience with sensitive or regulated data, including HIPAA and PHI.
- Prior startup experience.
