What You'll Do
Own the investigation lifecycle: take signals (high NSF rate, reconciliation gap, auth rate drop) from definition through root-cause analysis to a written recommendation, coordinating with analytics, revenue, and support teams.
Connect data and context: frame questions with the analytics team, then gather qualitative context from revenue and support teams; work directly with carrier partner teams.
Go deep on every opportunity: independently analyze revenue impact, root cause, and urgency using AI tooling and judgment.
Produce intelligence artifacts: create documents covering the problem, why it's happening, recommended actions, and value.
Partner with the product team: translate findings into prioritized opportunities; help maintain and shape the opportunity backlog.
Who You Are
Payments-fluent: understand ACH return codes, reconciliation issues, retry logic, and chargeback lifecycles.
Investigative by nature: dig into discrepancies and trace issues across complex, multi-party payment flows.
Clear communicator: comfortable owning external relationships with partners' finance teams and coordinating across internal stakeholders.
