Responsibilities
- Develop and scale distributed systems, digging into performance and reliability issues across filesystem, network, and storage stack.
- Write and debug in low-level languages with focus on efficiency, correctness, and safety.
- Self-host and manage infrastructure using build automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Work hands-on with distributed storage systems like Ceph or MinIO.
Requirements
- Comfortable writing and debugging in C, C++, Go, Rust, or Zig.
- Familiarity with distributed storage systems like Ceph or MinIO, or eager to learn.
- 2+ years of software development experience, ideally in performance-critical or distributed environments.
- Enjoy working in person 5 days a week in NYC.
