Growth Engineer
Build and scale growth-focused product experiences across Bounce’s web and mobile platforms, improving acquisition, activation, and conversion through experimentation. The role requires a hands-on generalist comfortable owning features end to end across the stack.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to support new product innovations and business initiatives, exploring new ventures from engineering and product perspectives.
- Build systems and product experiences that drive user acquisition, activation, and conversion.
- Write high-quality code for mobile and web applications.
- Own products and services, continuously improving and maintaining code and architecture.
- Build and improve acquisition channels, growth systems, conversion funnels, and growth loops.
- Run A/B tests, analyze user behavior, and iterate through data-driven product improvements.
- Own features from concept through production in collaboration with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams.
- Work with Elixir, React Native, Expo, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, introducing other technologies when beneficial.
- Maintain production systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay current with industry trends and participate in technology communities.
Requirements
- Relevant experience developing and shipping code for production systems.
- Generalist mindset with the ability to contribute across the stack and own features end to end.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Elixir, or Ruby.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and technologies such as React, React Native, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience building maintainable and testable codebases.
- Knowledge of API design and unit and integration testing techniques.
- Commitment to creating exceptional end-user experiences with strong attention to detail.
- Current knowledge of relevant technologies and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
