Manager, Technical Services

Responsibilities

• Manage a global team of Data Engineers and Scientists, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and career pathing.
• Coach team members to synthesize complex technical architectures into high-level business strategies for executive stakeholders.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Account Management to bridge technical knowledge gaps and identify strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Own resource allocation across a diverse portfolio of projects, matching talent to high-impact initiatives.
• Develop and refine internal efficiencies and offerings to reduce manual effort.
• Monitor team capacity against pipeline to support department growth targets.
• Audit project delivery processes to identify opportunities for automation and R&D-led innovation.
• Guide best practices in solution development and client relationships.
• Define performance expectations, ensure accountability, and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
• Foster supportive working relationships, motivation, and engagement.
• Prioritize direct-report workloads based on customer and business priorities.
• Oversee team work at a high level to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in professional services or technical consulting, including 1–3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• College degree, preferably in Technical Management, or equivalent leadership experience.
• Proven success coaching and mentoring experienced technical resources.
• Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical individual contributors.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and prioritize individual workload.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $120,000–$140,000 per year.
