Software Engineer II, Frontend
Build and maintain customer-facing web products and internal tools at Brex, owning frontend work from architecture through experimentation, scalability, and quality. The role requires end-to-end client-side development experience with React and modern web tooling, plus strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products.
- Work side-by-side with user-facing teams, including Sales and Support, to understand customer needs.
- Design and implement experiments to improve customer experiences.
- Own problems end-to-end, considering user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
- Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.
Requirements
- Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end to end.
- Experience developing software for the Web platform, including cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with modern tools such as ES6+, React, GraphQL, and Webpack.
- Uphold high engineering standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience collaborating with specialists in product, design, and operations.
- Experience developing with React Native for mobile.
