Senior ML/AI Modeler, Risk Automation Machine Learning
Leads the design, deployment, and optimization of agentic and generative AI systems that automate risk and compliance investigations at scale. Requires 8+ years of machine learning modeling experience, production ML expertise, and advanced technical education.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Experiment with and deploy AI copilot and autopilot systems at scale to improve analyst productivity and eliminate manual decision loops.
- Own end-to-end systems, including API integrations with disparate data sources, prompt tuning, orchestration, metrics, evaluation, productionization, and monitoring.
- Use payment transactions, connected-user and asset graphs, unstructured text, and user profiles to build transformer-based ML models for downstream detection tasks.
- Collaborate with product, platform, engineering, and operations stakeholders to deploy production-grade systems and tune ongoing performance.
- Apply Python ML tools, LLMs, PyTorch, Snowflake, Airflow-based tools, data platforms, and GCP and AWS cloud services.
- Use agentic tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenClaw for research, development, DevOps, and documentation.
- Own and drive strategic roadmaps and priorities across cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of machine learning modeling experience.
- Full-stack machine learning experience preferred.
- Master's or advanced degree in computer science, data science, operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of AI engineering and large language model experience preferred.
- Background in traditional natural language processing techniques preferred.
- End-to-end experience building and deploying performant ML/AI systems in batch and real-time production environments.
- Experience independently owning and driving high-impact programs with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
- Curious, growth-oriented mindset and ability to apply first-principles thinking.
Compensation and Benefits
- ATS salary range: $194,500–$343,100 USD.
