About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial contracting by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer contracts, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, licensing deals, NDAs, and SaaS agreements.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, and HR teams to provide pragmatic legal guidance supporting business objectives.
  • Drive corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and policies that improve efficiency while managing risk.
  • Identify and proactively address legal risks as the company scales internationally and expands data partnerships.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the United States.
  • 8+ years of legal experience, including at least 4 years of in-house experience.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly in the technology sector.
  • Ability to independently handle diverse legal matters with excellent judgment.
  • Clear communication and a business-minded, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
