Build and maintain cloud tooling, Continuous Delivery platforms, Terraform-based infrastructure automation, and supporting microservices across AWS ECS and EKS. Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable microservices and tools for the Continuous Delivery platform, including Spinnaker, Terraform, and custom tooling.
- Build software solutions and APIs for infrastructure provisioning, production changes, and application deployments.
- Design and implement Continuous Delivery pipelines and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested automation software in Java, Python, or Go.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Product teams to identify operational bottlenecks and build automation solutions.
- Apply software design, development, testing, deployment, and security best practices.
- Build self-service automation for infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and operational tasks.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on software engineering practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience focused on automation tools, platforms, or cloud microservices.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Go, Python, or similar backend languages.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and practical Terraform experience.
- Experience developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery platforms; Spinnaker or similar experience is beneficial.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and ECS.
- Proficiency with Docker and Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or MongoDB.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
