Defense Tech Software Engineer Intern at Palantir building mission-critical products for the modern warfighter using Gotham. Core Responsibilities
- Support work specifically focusing on delivering Palantir Defense capabilities to critical mission partners.
- Involved throughout the product lifecycle from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and shipping.
- Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand customers' problems and build products that tackle them.
- Build high-quality code directly to Palantir's Gotham product.
- Work on small teams focusing on specific aspects of a product, such as geospatial mapping tools or Gotham release infrastructure.
- Share context, skills, and experience across teams.

- Collaboration: Work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Product Reliability Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Deployment Strategists.

What We Require
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics or related fields.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one prior to start of internship.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Must be planning on graduating in 2028 (final internship before graduating).
