Responsibilities

Finance & Revenue Operations

  • Support financial modeling, budgeting, market sizing, and analytical work for strategic initiatives.
  • Track leading indicators and surface insights to leadership.
  • Support pricing experimentation and definition.
  • Own mechanical accounts receivable collections, reconciliation, and cash application; escalate matters requiring judgment.
  • Manage accounts payable invoice review, approval routing, and reimbursement processing.
  • Run monthly commissions using existing models.
  • Manage contractor and intern payments and contractor invoice intake.
  • Support HubSpot revenue operations, including dashboards, day-to-day changes, and data hygiene.

Business Operations

  • Build data models, analytical insights, and frameworks to evaluate company performance. SQL proficiency or willingness to learn is a plus.
  • Source and manage vendors, procurement, legal and contracts, insurance renewals, and broker coordination.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution, including Customer Success process improvements and operational projects.
  • Own IT provisioning, onboarding/offboarding procedures, and day-to-day IT channel management.
  • Lead ISO 27001 and SOC 2 evidence gathering and maintain the renewal calendar.

People Operations

  • Coordinate semi-annual performance reviews, quarterly pulse and engagement surveys, and efficiency metric tracking.
  • Coordinate hiring logistics, including offer letters, JustWorks onboarding, background checks, and onboarding/offboarding.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a high-growth consulting or operating role, such as MBB or top-tier consulting, a strong operating role at a high-growth startup, or a Big Four consulting practice.
  • Highly analytical and structured, with the ability to build models and frameworks from scratch.
  • Execution-oriented, with strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and moving across functions.
  • Able to build processes and bring order to messy, fast-moving workflows.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between operational detail and strategic context.
  • Authorized to work in Canada or the United States.
  • Able to work hybrid, with two days per week in the Waterloo or Toronto office.
