Core Responsibilities
- Build features to improve the developer experience for other Palantir engineers.
- Improve the scalability and reliability of Palantir’s platforms.
- Participate throughout the product lifecycle from idea generation and design to execution and rollout.
- Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand developers' and customers' problems and build infrastructure to address them.
- Work on one of four major infrastructure categories: Backend Infrastructure, Developer Infrastructure, Frontend Infrastructure, or Storage Infrastructure.
Requirements
- Engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience coding in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
- Must be planning on graduating in 2028 (final internship before graduating).
- Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- Passion for helping other developers build better applications.
- Empathy for the impact of changes on workflows and productivity.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
- Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask questions when needed.
