What You’ll Be Working On
- Architecting and building enterprise-grade integrations using the Workato ONE platform to enable intelligent workflow automation
- Designing, developing, and maintaining deep API integrations across a broad enterprise application stack spanning business-critical systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)
- Leveraging AI-powered automation within Workato to improve efficiency, resiliency, and predictive process optimization
- Establishing reusable integration architecture patterns, frameworks, and governance standards that scale across both human-led and automated workflows
- Partnering with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, lead discovery sessions, assess ROI, and translate complex needs into scalable technical solutions
- Leading integration initiatives end-to-end, from concept through deployment, including sprint execution, technical reviews, and delivery accountability
- Providing senior-level escalation support, ensuring reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response for critical integrations
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- 7+ years of experience as an API Developer or Integration Engineer in enterprise environments
- 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Workato, ideally with Workato ONE
- Deep expertise building and operating complex Workato recipes, including error handling, monitoring, batch processing, custom connectors, SDK development, and API collections
- Interest in and exposure to AI-assisted development workflows and intelligent automation
- Collaborating with internal software engineering teams to ensure integration patterns and API access are available for custom-built internal tools and automations
- Proven experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms across domains such as HCM, ERP, CRM, finance, or similar
- Expert knowledge of enterprise integration best practices, EAI/SOA patterns, and iPaaS architectures
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SOAP, RBAC, and API security best practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, Jira/JSM, Confluence, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong understanding of HR data models, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2), and secure handling of sensitive PII
Bonus Points
- Workato Foundations or Integration Developer certifications
- Experience with leading enterprise SaaS platforms and their native integration tooling
- Experience with additional iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica)
- Background in HR technology consulting or HRIS implementations
- General experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), IaC tools, or identity and SSO integrations
- Experience in high-growth or highly regulated environments
Compensation
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $165,000 - $200,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
