Role Scope
Own water chemistry across the fleet's cooling systems: treatment programs, specifications, and monitoring for liquid-cooled gigawatts.
Engineer the water systems: makeup, treatment, filtration, and blowdown designed into the reference design.
Set the coolant standards for direct liquid cooling: chemistry, materials compatibility, and lifetime.
Run the vendor programs: treatment suppliers held to results, not service visits.
Responsibilities
- Engineer industrial water treatment or cooling water chemistry programs.
- Diagnose and resolve corrosion, scaling, or biological problems in cooling systems.
- Specify treatment systems and hold vendors accountable to performance metrics.
- Design monitoring systems that detect deviations before damage occurs.
- Ensure materials compatibility across metals, plastics, and coolants.
Requirements
- Experience engineering industrial water treatment or cooling water chemistry.
- Proven ability to diagnose corrosion, scaling, or biological problems and implement cures.
- Experience specifying treatment systems and holding vendors to performance standards.
- Strong understanding of materials compatibility across metals, plastics, and coolants.
- Ability to design effective monitoring programs for cooling systems.
