Role Scope
Own the robotic weld cells: programming, fixturing interface, and weld quality at production rate.
Develop weld programs for structural steel assemblies: procedures, parameters, and sequencing that hold distortion.
Commission new cells with integrators and take them from acceptance to rate.
Drive first-pass yield up with data: rework cut at the parameter level.
What We're Looking For
Programmed and run robotic welding in production, not just in a lab.
Deep knowledge of GMAW: parameters, transfer modes, and arc interpretation.
Solved distortion and penetration problems on heavy weldments.
Work to WPS discipline and can write one.
Partner with quality on inspections and the fixes they drive.
