DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable Azure cloud environments supporting Azure-based EHR solutions.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and develop CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for client environments.
• Implement and manage Azure Application Gateway with IP whitelisting, App Container Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Traffic Manager.
• Configure environments for containerized applications and streamline deployments through DevOps automation.
• Develop and maintain repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure using Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management, including CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Octopus Deploy, and other DevOps tools.
• Implement application-, process-, and resource-level monitoring for performance and security.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and data protection best practices.
• Design and build Azure environments with Resource Groups, VNETs, subnets, and autoscaling capabilities.
• Deploy and optimize redundant, autoscaling IIS virtual machines.
• Document architectures, configurations, scalability, security, and operational best practices.
• Champion knowledge sharing across teams and departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of Azure experience, including secure and optimized cloud architectures.
• Strong technical background in Azure, DevOps, and cloud security.
• Experience with Application Gateway, App Container Services, Service Bus, Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Traffic Manager.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills using Terraform.
• DevOps automation experience with GitLab and Octopus Deploy.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices, including firewall configurations, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and identity providers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, presentation, independent-working, and knowledge-sharing skills.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000–$140,000.
