Responsibilities
Support payor and clinical contracting efforts.
Partner with business teams to build scalable, compliant healthcare partnerships and ensure quality services are delivered.
Advise on healthcare regulatory matters, including:
Corporate practice of medicine
Federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including Anti-Kickback Statutes, the False Claims Act, and the Civil Monetary Penalties Law
Scope of practice
Telehealth laws
HIPAA
Clinical governance frameworks for AI initiatives
Medicare and Medicaid requirements and reimbursement issues
Provide strategic, practical guidance on regulatory challenges and proactively mitigate business risks.
Draft and negotiate provider agreements, payor agreements, commercial agreements, network participation agreements, business associate agreements, management services agreements, professional services agreements, and related contracts.
Support healthcare providers and healthcare entities in a fast-paced environment.
Build foundational legal processes that enable accessible, high-quality mental healthcare.
Requirements
7+ years of related professional experience.
At least 5 years of healthcare regulatory law experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
At least 5 years of contracting experience, including drafting and negotiating healthcare and commercial agreements.
Experience working with and supporting healthcare providers and/or healthcare entities.
Strong writing, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide efficient, succinct, and practical guidance.
