Responsibilities

  • Contribute to predictive models for forecasting, patient-advocate matching, and scoring systems.
  • Query and wrangle data using SQL and Snowflake.
  • Support the design and analysis of A/B tests and experiments.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to move models from notebooks into production and learn MLOps practices.
  • Apply statistical rigor to distinguish meaningful results from noise.
  • Present findings and defend methodology to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Frame problems, validate models, design experiments, and make sound modeling decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience; graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Strong foundations in statistics and probability, including hypothesis testing and regression.
  • Working knowledge of Python and the core data science ecosystem, including pandas, scikit-learn, and NumPy.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Quantitative projects, research, internships, competitions, hackathons, or personal modeling work.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Applicants must be based in the United States.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with time-series forecasting, including ARIMA, Prophet, or exponential smoothing.
  • Coursework or projects in causal inference or experimental design.
  • Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Docker, or AWS.
  • Experience with natural language processing or unstructured text data.
