About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, and end-to-end execution of AI practitioner events, hands-on workshops, and meetups across the East and Canada.
  • Lead surround and off-site activations at major AI conferences, including NVIDIA GTC, Ray Summit, and AI Engineer Summit.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and AI/ML product teams to translate AI observability and LLM monitoring capabilities into compelling event content.
  • Design and improve hands-on workshop curricula and live demos for technical practitioners and decision-makers.
  • Build scalable event playbooks and toolkits for consistent execution across markets.
  • Manage vendors, venues, budgets, staffing, and on-site logistics.
  • Align event strategy with Sales and Field Marketing territory and pipeline priorities across NAMER.
  • Track pipeline influence, attendee engagement, and program ROI, using data to refine programs.
  • Cultivate relationships with AI developer communities, meetup organizers, and local user groups.
  • Monitor the AI/ML landscape and competitive events calendar to identify opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or program management, ideally with technical, developer, or AI/ML audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and machine learning, with the curiosity to understand products deeply enough to speak credibly at events.
  • Experience planning and running practitioner-focused events or hands-on workshops from concept through follow-up.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple events, vendors, and budgets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort presenting to technical audiences.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional approach to working with Sales, Product Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Process-oriented mindset and interest in building repeatable programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
