About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own how customers create, configure, and manage voice agents on Vapi.
  • Drive integrations and tools that agents can call, expanding their capabilities during calls.
  • Run the full lifecycle of every supported model, from evaluation and onboarding through deprecation.
  • Build processes to add the latest models quickly and reliably.
  • Define evidence-based model performance measurement.
  • Run experimentation and research into agentic harness opportunities, translating techniques into customer-facing features.
  • Simplify the sprawl of agent configuration, including thousands of possible parameters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, primarily building and operating technical products at meaningful scale in medium- to large-sized technology companies.
  • Strong technical foundation, with the ability to reason through system design and architecture trade-offs with engineers.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for aligning engineers, briefing executives, and presenting to external clients and partners.
  • Track record of owning outcomes and measurable impact.
  • Genuine customer centricity and experience building B2B or enterprise products.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing AI model integrations across TTS, STT, or LLM providers.
  • Direct experience in voice AI.
  • Experience building developer platforms, infrastructure products, or API-first products.
  • Experience developing model evaluation or benchmarking systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $240,000–$270,000, plus equity.
