Builds and operates global internal and edge networking infrastructure, services, and automation for Auth0 across multi-cloud and multi-region environments. Requires software development experience, strong networking fundamentals, Terraform, Go, and cloud-native DevOps expertise.

Responsibilities
- Implement internal and edge networking infrastructure and design solutions for global scale, multi-cloud, and multi-region environments.
- Carry cross-team initiatives end to end, including code reviews, design reviews, operational robustness, and security hygiene.
- Design and develop services, tools, and automation that expose network functionality to Okta engineering and operations teams.
- Research and implement solutions for routing, failover, and scaling.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience in cloud-native services such as APIs.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS.
- DevOps experience with cloud-agnostic, cloud-native technologies.
- Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
- Experience contributing to Go-based services.
- Passion for building global distributed systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure.
- Ability to deliver work incrementally, gather feedback, and iterate.
- Ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- A product mindset toward infrastructure, including self-service, well-documented internal networking tools.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and major content delivery networks.
- Experience implementing and scaling service mesh architectures for service-to-service communication, observability, and security.
- Knowledge of Istio, Envoy Proxy, and the Kubernetes Gateway API.
- Experience designing and maintaining multi-cloud networking topologies and hybrid connectivity at scale, including Direct Connect and Cloud Interconnect.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary range in Canada: $136,000–$187,000 CAD.
